Mount Pleasant is a large green neighbourhood located to the East of Downtown Vancouver, known as one of the best neighbourhoods of the city with its eclectic and artistic reputation.

The northern boundary of this neighbourhood stretches along the False Creek waterfront from the western border of Ontario Street east to Main Street, then heading south Main Street down to Great Northern Way over to Clark Drive its Eastern border, completing with its southern border of East 16th Avenue.

This neighbourhood was originally built up of large single-family detached homes, low-rise buildings and some condo complexes. As a result of an upsurge in the neighbourhood construction in recent years, there has been a hasty growth of multi-story buildings with higher-end apartments, condos and lofts.

Mount Pleasant real estate is more affordable than the Kitsilano and Yaletown neighbourhoods, and you can enjoy the close proximity to Downtown with its energy.

Mount Pleasant neighbourhood was historically inhabited by the artistic community, but it has more recently become the choice of first-time homeowners and young professionals, as well as families, which leads to the neighbourhood’s vibrant and diverse nature.

Mount Pleasant offers a wide variety of elementary school choices, such as Admiral Seymour Elementary, Nightingale Elementary and Fraser Elementary.

The transportation options are good, with easy access to the Skytrain stations and downtown bus service to all areas.
